It's the summer term! Owls class don't have time to sit back and soak up the sunshine though. Year 6 have been working hard, revising for their SATs, we have a dragon to make for the Callington MayFest parade, and we have songs to sing and lines to learn for our summer production!
The Arrival by Shaun Tan is the inspiration for our writing this term and we will be studying poems from Michael Rosen's book - On the Move. The poems tie in with our topic of WW2.
Outdoor learning will see a range of activities that each house will take turns to do: den building, fire lighting, gardening, games using our senses and art.
We will have our transition days in July and fingers crossed for good weather at all our sporting events, especially sports day in June!
